Wayne had been retired for 10 years and was living on savings.
He had previously lived down south and sold his property. He then moved north to purchase a cheaper property and live on the additional proceeds from the sale.
Wayne was diabetic, smoked and took cholesterol related medication. He had just turned 60 and wanted to start drawing an income from his pension funds in order to improve his quality of life.
What we did
We got to know Wayne and assessed his financial situation in line with his goals. We realised we could make some amendments to the way his pensions were being held, in order to improve his income.
Overall, we helped Wayne to increase his income by an additional 38%; well above what his existing providers could offer.
The results
Wayne was very pleased with the changes we made.
He now has much more disposable income, which allowed him to increase his standard of living from what he had previously been accustomed to whilst living on his savings.
